On Saturday June 3rd, The Gilpin County Arts Association will be hosting John Fielder as he presents his repeat photography from Colorado’s best-selling books of all time at the Central City Opera House. You know the first one…the big brown leather book. As he fades the photographs from then to now, you witness a century of change from Central City and Black Hawk to the mining communities of the San Juan Mountains. John’s commentary about what it took to find the original locations are the perfect complement. Book sale and signing.
